I’ve got a severe case of bronchitis so I didn’t get a chance to yell at the TV, but I wasn’t happy with the Rangers tonight.

Starting with Henrik Lundqvist who seems to have rediscovered his high-glove-side kryptonite tonight, he was shelled, and while not all of it was his fault, enough of it was for him to get a very deserving yank at the start of the 3rd.

The defense kept falling asleep at inopportune times, particularly Marc Staal who did not have a good game, then again, very few Rangers did.

They generated a few chances here and there, but by and large, we kinda sucked. The shot count may have been high, but the team just does not show that killer instinct nor resilience that were staples of their team during the ECF run a few years back. Wake up, the season is getting awfully short awfully quick.

I just don’t like watching this team get tons of chances, never score, and watch the other team get the same or fewer amount of chances, and score multiple times.

It gets old, real quick.
