I Can Live With It – Brooins @ Rangers Post Game Thoughts…

Posted by inferno272 on November 20th, 2013

You never like to lose. I get it. I HATE losing as much as the next guy, but I’ve always believed, and will so till the day I die, that wins or losses don’t matter nearly as much as playing the right way. For the last 3 games the Rangers have definitely played the right way. If you look at the chances, not just total shots, but the chances that this team has had, and it’s the right guys having those chances, they should be averaging 4 goals a game and be running a big time winning streak.

Instead, everyone is in panic mode.

Not me.

Every year this happens, you go through a stretch of games where the team looks great and they can’t buy a win. The important thing though is to make sure the cycle stays that way, keep playing great, and the wins will come. And when they do, and they will, they will come in bunches.

No team can maintain a 1.7% shooting percentage that the Rangers have over the past 3 games. It’s impossible. You literally can not be that bad and be a pro team. It’s IMPOSSIBLE. Even the horrific Buffalo Sabres have a 6+% shooting percentage this year. Think about it, if the Rangers averaged just a paltry 5% shooting percentage, which is far lower than any team has had since the lockout and lower than any team has this short year, they would have scored 6 goals over the last 3 games, and more than likely come up with 3 wins.

Don’t panic peeps, the wins are coming.

They are doing EVERYTHING right. Defensively, Offensively, Goaltending (Paille goal not withstanding), other than putting the pucks in the net. I refuse to believe a team with this much talent could be this terrible at scoring.

It’ll come.

Believe in blue.
