Torts ripped into the Rangers after this one. He said we stunk, we sucked, nobody showed up, our top guys blah blah blah.
I’m not sure I agree.
Do I think we played a great game? No, not at all. I thought we were mediocre. But I don’t think we were as bad as Torts seemed to think. Was the passion lacking a little? Yeah, I thought it was, but I don’t think the Rangers didn’t try. They did. They had some good chances, they didn’t score. The Sabres were totally beatable tonight, and that Torts agrees with me, but I don’t know if we lost so much as they did just enough to win.
I’ve been disgusted a lot while watching the Rangers this season…tonight really wasn’t one of those games though.
Meh.
