-Anisimov playing with an A, pretty cool.
-Quite poor camera quality.
-Pansy fight there, Dowzak from the Rangers throwing em down. The guy looks HUGE, but didn’t really do much in a fight with someone much smaller.
-Rangers score! Barnes nets one on a nice 2 on 1. It was a really nice pass, not sure who did the passing though.
-Sanguinetti stands up a player at center ice, good to see him do that.
-Anisimov rings one off the post, wow, nice hard shot.
-Anisimov to the box for high sticking, pretty nasty play, just cross checked the Tampa guy right in the face.
-Pyatt with a breakaway on the PK, doesn’t net it, kid has some legs.
-It appears Anisimovs penalty was a major, I didnt pick up on that till just now…
-Pyatt is also an A.
-Rangers take a delay of game penalty for clearing the puck into the stands, down 2 men.
-Tampa takes a penalty for high sticking, Messier was the one who was hit. They’re calling it a double minor.
-2 seconds in, Anisimov bangs one home. Man, this kid is going to be something.
-Anisimov falls over for no reason, leads to Tampa scoring a goal, but it was waived off because it was apparently hit with a high stick, replay shows it is conclusively a high stick.
-Sanguinetti and Del Zotto playing the point on the Power Play. I gotta say, they looked pretty good moving the puck.
-Christ, Grachev is a freaking huge man.
-Del Zotto with some MAJOR wheels. Holy moly this kid can FLY.
-Rangers take another penalty, sheesh, it’s been the story of this tournament so far for them, they are taking way too many penalties.
-Wow, what a pass by Del Zotto to Weiss. Man, tap in goal on a beauty of a pass.
-Del Zotto is very active in the offensive zone. He certainly has no worries about jumping into the play. Its a good thing if hes paired with a guy like Staal, I could see why he is a minus player in this tournament though, he is almost reckless in his offensive aggressiveness.
-Brodie Dupont was the C, I wasnt sure, but they just confirmed it for me.
-Rangers about to head on a PP. Anisimov is a bull out there…
-Rangers take another penalty.
-Doyle just SMASHED by an open ice hit.
-Sanguinetti with a nice play, driving to the net uses his speed, but doesnt convert.
-Dupont stepping in to protect AA, gotta love that.
-Dupont got thrown out, but thats inconsequential compared to the message he sent to his teammates. Love it.
-Or maybe not, apparently its a 10 minute misconduct, not a game.
-Tampa scores on a goalmouth frenzy in the last 3 seconds of the 2nd period. BAH!
-Gordie Clark on Grachev “Hes been very average”
-Anisimov bangs home the rebound on Sanguinettis point shot. Right place, right time goal.
-Clarke called AA a 3rd liner. Not sure I agree with that.
-Barmes with a wraparound goal, rangers up 5-1.
-Clarke not pulling any punches, saying Naslund was very average the last 2 years.
-Rangers take another penalty. Tommy Pyatt has done a superb job defensively in this game.
-Clarke says Dupont needs to work on his speed. I agree.
-Del Zotto fans on a shot, leads to Tampa getting an odd man rush against. It’s the second time Ive seen him fan on a shot.
-Tampa scores, stoppable shot.
-Rangers take another penalty, less than 3 mins to go in the game.
-Tommy Pyatt is just playing a heck of a game.
-Rangers win 5-3, they missed an open net in the last second. Good game by the kids. Not much else to say. I’m outta here, Part 4 of my preview will be up tomorrow night.
