I was, overall, pretty happy with the way we played in that period. We weren’t dominating, but I would call us cautiously aggressive. I’m having a hard time calling the goal given up by Henrik a softie. True, it was a goal he could have (possibly should have) had, but I really have a hard time calling any goal scored off of partial cross crease pass right in front of you goalie a softie. Hey, who knows, and honestly, right now, who cares. The important thing is we recovered nicely from what could have potentially been a backbreaking early semi-soft goal.
Ryan Callahan continues to impress, he’s playing a much more engaged game, making himself noticed out there shift in and shift out. Petr Prucha better be careful, he might find himself without a job once he becomes healthy enough to play.
