Rangers are playing well, they are playing skilled, but they are NOT playing hungry. There is a major distinction in those concepts. The willingness to go that extra few strides to beat an opponent to the puck, to dive in front of a shot, it just doesnt seem like its there as much in this game as it usually is. Rangers are playing just well enough to make Garon look like Patrick Roy. He’s playing well, but we are shooting a lot of pucks right into his chest.
We should be winning this game, and if we lose, we should feel ashamed of ourselves.
