Ok, maybe a little wishful thinking there, but I can tell you a large part of this is putting Gomez with Jagr. There is chemistry there, blame Renney for pulling the plug on that combination far too early into the season.
The power-play still seems quite crappy. No movement of the body, and lots of movement of the puck. Combine the 2, and you have a winning combination. Oh yeah, and SHOOT.
It also doesn’t hurt when the Penguins have a goalie playing who makes Marc-Andre Fleury look like Henrik Lundqvist…who by the way looks really great out there.
