Nothing should scare a Ranger fan more than seeing Henrik Lundqvist sprawled out in utter agony. Seeing that a few minutes ago almost made me choke on the water I was drinking at that moment. Luckily I survived, and so it appears will Henrik.
Very good period for the Rangers, they really took the body, and the game to the Islanders. And although both goals were really off of terrible individual plays by Islander defenseman, you have to credit the Rangers for taking advantage of whats given to them.
This has been an ugly game from a sportsmanlike point of view, with the Islanders throwing a LOT of elbows, only 1 of which has been caught (Poti, for Interference), The Isles are out for blood, Rangers gotta take care of themselves in the period.
Pick up a point, it would go a long way towards securing a playoff spot.
