Ok, not really a goalie controversy, but you gotta hand it to Weekes, he stood on his head for the bulk of that period.? The Sharks have actually played a REALLY good game thus far, and right now the Rangers are winning it because of Kevin Weekes, he has been REALLY good.? The Rachunek and Bozolinsh pairing appear to be having a pretty bad game, Im not sure why they are together to be honest, it seems like a pairing destined for failure, but it is one of Renneys “make no sense” moves putting them together.? Jagr has been playing really well, and I thought the trip was really more of a dive by Grier than anything….You can not tell me a guy that big and strong on his skates can get tripped so badly by a 1 handed injured Jagr.? I dont buy it.
Rangers need a solid 3rd period here.? If they get it, it will mark only the second time all year the Rangers have played a full 60 minute game (in my opinion of course).? The first being the superbly played game against the Devils.
PS, the reffing has been pretty good in this game….uh oh, did I just jinx it?
